To insure absolute surface uniformity, S&S pours
their glass onto a bed of mercury. Each piece of glass is perfectly flat and optically
pure. We use only 20 mm / 3/4 thick glass in our furniture range. This extremely
thick glass is unusual in the furniture industry, but it guarantees a high load
capacity and accentuates the elegant design of fine audio and
video components.

General Overview
’32” & 40” LCD/TFT displays offer unparalleled visual clarity,
superior contrast and high luminance, making it ideal for transportation applications
where high quality real time information delivery has to be achieved in demanding
ambient light conditions.
A choice of landscape or portrait versions
in 16:9 format, with optional Section 12 rail approval, this display is the ideal
choice for any rail or underground environment. The all aluminium slim construction
with a tough polycarbonate or laminated safety glass front screen,provides a viable
alternative to CRT monitors where space is at a premium and stylish design is
arequirement. The enclosure has been specifically designed for hostile environments
such as railways and bus stations where rough treatment, diesel fumes, brake dust
and weather need to be catered for.Additional options include an integrated PC
with Ethernet connectivity; diagnostic facilities and Environmental Control
are also available. The units are sealed from the environment. To assist in maintaining
an even temperature, two low voltage fans provide circulated air to achieve optimal
environmental conditions.
A range of mounting options ensures that
the display maintains versatility in providing an excellent platform for any
transport application.
